Organized by Tipperary Dance Residency, the dance laboratory TDP LAB is a comprehensive training package providing a professional research and training environment for a group of selected dancers. The TDP’14 LAB is mentored by renowned French choreographer Hélène Cathala (see shows section).
Taking place in conjunction with the festival Tipperary Dance Platform, TDP’14 LAB includes the following package for the trainees: tuition and accommodation, group workshops, free attendance to the TDP’14 shows, participation in the TDP’14 Forum, and an opportunity to showcase personal work in public (see showcases). The students also receive a one-to-one mentoring session with TDP’14 guest artists.
TDP LAB is funded by the Arts Council under the Dance artist residency award scheme. The Lab is Hosted by Tipperary Excel Arts Centre.
